About the role:
The HR Officer will play a key role in supporting all HR functions with particular focus on ensuring attraction and recruitment of our seasonal staff for our 2025 Edinburgh Science Festival.
This role will give you a chance to contribute to the success of our world renowned Science Festival and help further your HR career providing you with valuable experience in recruitment and HR operations, within a supportive team setting.
As our HR Officer, you will:
- Lead recruitment campaigns to attract, select and onboard our seasonal team for the 2025 Festival and any core team positions.
- Manage the employee lifecycle and HR operations, including all onboarding activities, payroll support, and HR system support.
- Provide clear guidance to staff and managers on HR related matters.
About you:
- Proven experience in an HR role with a focus on recruitment and selection.
- Ideally CIPD Level 3 qualified or above, or equivalent experience.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for working with people.
- A reliable, positive and flexible working manner is a must
- Experience in a cultural, charity, or event-based setting is a plus!
